A recent trip to Wayne County, Indiana by Colin Sells of Anchorage, Alaska in search of records on his own ancestors, the descendants of David and Martha Steward Sells (see Celle Newsletters #111, page 7; #112, page 1; and #120, page 5), yielded more records on the descendants of Francis and Sarah Sell, also of Wayne County (see News. #120, page 6).

Our outline of the descendants of Francis Sell, a.1800-1879, and his wife Sarah, a.1797/8-1867, who apparently came from PA to Wayne County, Indiana about 1832, now includes five children, 16 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren, as follows:

1. Francis M. Sell Jr., 1830/2-1916; wife Susannah Charlotte, a.1842/3; four children:

(1) John William Sell, a.1860-1917, m. Elizabeth Dingley, a.1859-1942;

12 children: Elmer, b.a.1880; Ethel M. Sell Helms, a.1881; an

unnamed male born 18 Sept. 1883; Wilbur Sell, 1885-1973;

Hazel Lydia Sell Ernest, 1887-1973; an unnamed female born 28 Oct.

1888; Florence Sell Ferris, 1890-1962; Myrtle Sell, b.1 Dec. 1890; an

unnamed female born 21 March 1893; Russell Sell, 1897-1969;

Ruth Sell, 1900-1997; Kenneth Sell, a.1901-1983.
