In January, 1969 Carolyn published the first edition of "The Celle Newsletter", and she has contiued its publication each quarter since. By the summer of 1999 she had published 111 editions. With a growing number of requests for the back issues, we have compiled them into three indexed volumes, and they are available on our newly published "The Family CELLE" CD. She continues to publish the newsletter quarterly, and we will include all the issues following edition 111 on The Family CELLE CD - Volume 2 that will be available in mid year 2000.
The Newsletters contain records located anywhere and everywhere , pertaining to any and all American Cell(e), Gesell(e), Seals, Sell(s), Sill(s), Zell(s), etc. families; but particularly those Pennsylvania German origin. We are dedicated to the collection , recording, and sharing of all genealogical and historical data pertaining to these families and their ancestors. Our goal is to identify all Cell/Sell families living in the United States and Canada by 1900, and as many of their ancestors and descendants as possible.
All inquiries are welcome, and we try to answer personally as many as possible. We will publish any new queries in the newsletters, along with any related records for the benefit of all our subscribers. We welcome all your inquiries and suggestions.
As we have compiled more and more records on the many lines, we have recorded these into our "Celle Family Book". This book is arranged in parts and chapters, one or more for each identified family living in America prior to 1850. These records are documented with original source materials, wherever possible. The book will be published in its entirety for the first time on "The Family CELLE" CD - Volume 2 in the summer or fall of year 2000.
