John Franklin Cell was born 1873 in Franklin County, PA, son of John W Cell. He married Mary Florence Musson in 1905. They had: John W, Ruth E, Lois V, Paul C, Homer C, and Robert F. The family resided in Kansas City, Missouri. Paul and Homer died young.
The descendants of the other four held a family reunion in Estes Park, Colorado July 27-30, at the YMCA facility. There were 41 in attendance, out of 48 possible.
Ruth Emerett Cell Shelton and her great granddaughter Christine Shelton were, at 91 and 1, the oldest and youngest. Family came from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, North Carolina, California, Texas, Colorado, and Kansas City.
Music and sing alongs music provided by Howard Cell, Kate Cell, Tom Cell and Jennifer Cell Sada; picnics in the mountains, barefoot wading in the streams, hikes around the lakes a great time was had by all.
