Isaac Newton Sell was born 12 June 1840 in Ohio, probably in Carroll County, son of Benjamin Sell(s), 1815-1888, and Alice Henley; grandson of Anthony Sells III, and Catherine Kail. (Isaac > Benjamin > Anthony > Anthony > Anthony > Hendrick Sellen)
About 1863 Isaac Sell(s) married to Emaline McQueen, 1844-1881. Their first two sons, Ulysses Grant Sell and John Wesley Sell, were born in Ohio in 1864 and 1868. Then the family moved to Benton County, Missouri, where two daughters, Rebecca Alice "Allie" and Mary, were born about 1873 and 1874. In November 1880, twins Lillie and Minnie were born. Their mom, Emaline McQueen Sell died eight months later, in July 1881.
